Memorial Gravesites

The Memorial Graves, also known as 'cenotaphs', are situated opposite the gazebo. A cenotaph is a type of grave that doesn't contain the body of the deceased. Instead, it's a memorial constructed over a grave, but at a location where the body hasn't been interred. Cenotaphs can resemble any other grave in terms of the marker and inscription. They're often erected to remember those who lost their lives at sea, in wars, or through other circumstances where retrieving or transporting the body would be challenging.
