Workshop for Teachers
Professional Development WorkshopS
After two highly successful workshops in October 2022 and May 2023, we are planning to launch another Teacher's Workshop, tentatively for Fall of 2023!
As with our premier workshop, our goal is to introduce educators to the resources of the New Hampshire Veterans Learning Center and the New Hampshire Veteran Cemetery. In partnership with Rivier University Curriculum Development specialists, we encourage all teachers who seek to find an excellent local resource that provides a unique and historic perspective on the history of New Hampshire's veterans and the role they played in our nation's struggles from the late 1600's to the present day.
If you are a social studies teacher, history teacher, or are just interested in learning more about how to leverage the educational assets of the cemetery and Learning Center for your classroom, please reach out to board member Ruth Bidwell at rbidwell@sau53.org
